Bible Quizzing
Teenagers in grades 6-12 from all over the area form teams and memorize Scripture to compete against other. This is a fun, effective way to get kids to memorize God’s Word. An adult is needed to lead and coach each team.
The greatest benefit to Bible Quizzing is that young people will study large sections of the Bible each season and learn verses in context. For the 2025-26 season quizzers will be memorizing the books of 1 & 2 Corinthians, 1, 2 & 3 John, and Jude.

The Bible quiz season begins in August with practices. The quiz tournaments take place the first Saturday of each month from September to February at Lawson Baptist Church.

Midland Regional Bible Quiz Tournament
Midland Ministries will again host a Regional Bible Quiz Tournament at Lawson Baptist Church on March 27-28, 2026 .
National Bible Quiz Tournament
Midland Ministries brings 5 or 6 quiz teams to the Bible Quiz Fellowship National Tournament held each April in locations across America. These tournaments draw hundreds of teenagers from across the country. Nationals for the 2025-2026 season will be hosted by Iowa Teans for Christ in Coralville, Iowa April 15-18, 2026.
