SYO MISSIONS TRIPS
Each year SYO invests in the Kingdom of God by venturing out
all over the world through International and National Missions Trips. These
trips serve many purposes. Most importantly, they are evangelistic in design and
seek to reach those who have not heard the Gospel. SYO Mission Trips are also a
discipleship tool used to help students and adults get a glimpse of the mission
field and a taste of what it’s like to GO and be God’s hands and feet. Students
and adults are challenged to work together as a unified body to reach the lost
through preaching, drama, music, clowning, and work projects.
Financial means for the missions trips are raised by fund raisers and by the
Lord’s people sending out the students and staff. Through SYO Missions Trips we
have seen thousands come to know Christ as well as seeing student missionaries
feel a call into full-time missions. SYO Mission Trips are an incredible tool
for existing churches in other countries to utilize as they are also designed to
come along side existing churches to build up the body and draw in the lost.
Clowning, music, bold preaching, and human videos have been very successful in
drawing large crowds for which to present the Gospel in many foreign countries.
